Dear Alumnus of MANIT (MACT)

It gives us immense delight to communicate with you after a very long time. Our hearts swell with pride to inform you that our alma mater has stepped into its Golden Jubilee Year (2009-10). Established in the year 1960 with 120 students and seven faculty members, our beloved college has indeed come a long, bumpy way. Rectifications in the top administration in the past half year have ensured that MANIT/MACT is gradually once again moving forward. The dynamic and spirited student atmosphere that has ensued after the coming of age of the student societies operating within the college, may take you by a pleasant surprise.

Indeed, right from its inception, there has been something about the MANIT/MACT student life that has been undeniable. The fact that its travails have prepared each one of us for lifes struggles ahead, for seeing the glint of lightning in the darkest of the night skies, and for carrying hope that no matter how beaten we are, we will rise up again. It is that attitude that binds us all.

As our Alma Mater nears 50 years of existence, celebrations will no doubt be huge. Nonetheless, the celebrations can never be complete without the true legacy of the college, all its former and present students, coming together to celebrate the indomitable spirit of MANIT/MACT.
